Hentai Review: Koakuma Kanojo (2 of 2)

Koakuma Kanojo - Episode 2

So we move completely on from the world of the first episode, to one that is marginally more interesting. I mean, it’s still a fucking high school, because of course it is, but at least it’s explicitly a magic high school. And there’s elves.

We also trade gimmicks, going from haunted videos to aphrodisiacs. Which sounds much more lame, but considering they didn’t do anything that compelling with the haunted video thing, it about evens out.

It starts out with a quick scene of some girls changing and talking about the aphrodisiacs. I guess it’s to explain what they are if, for some reason, you’re in the dark about the concept. And possibly to pad the length. They don’t bother with the rudimentary opening animation this time.

Starting in earnest, we meet schoolgirl and her male childhood friend as they walk to school. They have that childhood friend sexual tension banter. Stop me if you’ve heard this one.

Upon being asked, he denies having a crush on anyone, and then immediately pitches a tent for this blonde elf girl on the other side of the street. Schoolgirl tells him how out of her league the elf is, then pulls out the ‘love potion’ mentioned at the beginning and suggests he date rape use it to improve his chances with her. After thinking about it while picturing the elf naked, he accepts it.

I don’t want to go off on a tangent here, but can I mention the weird moral blindspot with love potions in fiction? It’s weirdly frequent for fictional societies, wherein magic is the norm, to have little to no apparent rules or laws about this kind of thing. Granted, love potions are rarely portrayed in a positive light, but the lesson is typically something about how you can’t force someone to love you, not how you shouldn’t be a magic-assisted sexual predator.

He meets with elf girl, and brings drinks with the potion in it. They have the typical shy flirty conversation, and it becomes apparent that she’s actually into him. Because of this, right as she’s about to take a drink, he decides he can’t roofie her. He’s a real stand-up guy like that. He snatches the bottle from her and chugs it himself. It makes him look like a lunatic, but she doesn’t seem to notice. Why he had to drink it, is never established. Because we need to move along to the porking, is the only reason I can think of.

These school uniforms don't leave much to the imagination.

He keels over like he’s sick, and we get some rather nice censorship evasion, as well as a remark that it’s an aphrodisiac, not a love potion. Which we kinda knew? They never really established what the difference was really going to be in this setting.

Upon seeing his raging hard-on, in his weirdly form-fitting school uniform, she immediately offers to get him off. Pretty standard elf behavior, if we’re being honest.

We get some elf ear handlebar action, too. Which is always nice.

After that, they try to go back to standard anime shy flirting, like she didn't just chug a load of his cum, but she pretty much immediately gets all lubed up, as if she took the aphrodisiac, too. I don’t know if it’s supposed to be implied that she got dosed because she swallowed his semen, but they never really come back to it. She just gets super horny and he bangs her right there.

Also, it doesn’t show their location very clearly, but I’m pretty sure they’re in the fucking hallway. That is one thing that ties the episodes in this series together, a total lack of faculty supervision in these schools. I get that this is hentai and all, but these institutions are kind of dropping the ball; their students are doing nothing but fucking in strikingly public places. And sometimes they’re not even doing that right.

Roofie-guy and elf girl become a thing now, and our original schoolgirl walks in on them kissing, somehow managing to get jealous of the girl that she told him to drug and take advantage of. To her credit, she does see the hypocrisy of this.

He tries to catch up to schoolgirl to walk home (no idea if this is supposed to be all in one day), but she’s pissy about the whole thing. However, her being aware that it's stupid to get mad about him fucking the girl she told him to fuck doesn’t stop her from whipping around and hitting him, sending his head cracking against the window. So, she's violent and a rape-drug dealer. I mean, he’s not exactly a catch, but this might be why he passed her up for the elf.

They end up in the nurse’s office, because of the head trauma, and once again with a striking lack of supervision. He seems to be unconscious, which just raises further questions about how he got there, where the nurse went, and if there’s going to be criminal charges, but whatever.

She decides that she’s got to steal him from the elf, and so does the only rational thing: She drinks the aphrodisiac herself, and ties the man she physically assaulted to the bed, Misery-style, so that she can rape him.

Her rationale for drinking the potion is stated to be so she can make him fall in love with her, even though we seemed to have establish that all it does is make you horny, and drinking it yourself is not how love potions work to begin with. Once again, I may be thinking about the mechanics of a story more than the writer did.

Only when it’s done by someone doing weird shit with their mouth while they talk.

He wakes up to find that she’s already started without him. She continues to act like a weird psycho, and they fuck. There’s some creepy foot stuff, but it’s brief. Immediately after she finishes, she gets all embarrassed about how she was acting all perverted because of the aphrodisiac, and tells him to forget what just happened, but that she genuinely has feelings for him.

Maybe back away from this one, guy. This is the kind of girl that keeps a box of your hair in her closet and accuses you of rape if you break up with her. Maybe this is one of those schools with the in-house guilty-until-proven-innocent kangaroo courts, and it’s driven enrollment way down. That would explain why no one ever seems to be around.

She goes to leave without buttoning her blouse or even wiping the cum off of herself, runs into elf girl at the door, and tries to play it off like nothing happened.

Elf girl is pretty unfazed by it, and dismisses her as no real competition.

She does show that she knows how to share, however, and it ends with the impression that they’re just both going to fuck him. I guess elves are used to the situation.

The art and animation is about the same, being the same series and all, with a few odd bumps in the animation. They toned down the seizure-face stuff, which I appreciate. The overall story was more interesting, and because it wasn’t two shorts, it gave more time for the characters to establish themselves.
