Hentai Review: Koakuma Kanojo (1 of 2)

Koakuma Kanojo - Episode 1

There’s two episodes in the series, but they have nothing in common outside from the title and art style, so I’m going to approach them separately.

And actually, the first episode itself is broken up into two stories which themselves are only tied together by a flimsy framing device.

We jump right into said framing device, with some quick exposition in the form of some girls talking about a video that will curse you if you watch it. Basically a pornographic version of The Ring. In concept. In practice, it’s not nearly as interesting as that makes it sound.

We see our first ‘victim’ of the haunted video, this purple haired girl who’s making a dramatic show of tossing and turning in bed, like she’s coming off heroin cold turkey. Then, magic boob job.

Body inflation crap in the first couple minutes is never a good sign, but thankfully, it doesn’t get much worse than that. Then she grows a tail. There’ll be little wings later, too, but they seem mysteriously absent in the opening transformation.

Oh, and the tail is basically a penis. And I know you’re thinking, ‘Well of course it is, it’s vaguely phallic and in hentai’, and you’d be right, but what I mean is that it fucking ejaculates. Something that could have been a weird surprise, but they kind of spoil it in the opening theme.

Though, I’m using 'theme' pretty loosely. It’s twenty seconds long and the singing contains no actual words.

Following her transformation into a succubus via haunted video, we see her walking through the halls of her high school, lamenting that she is now the bride of Satan, and dreading running into the guy she’s crushing on. She seems to be afraid that he’ll reject her when he discovers that she’s got huge tits and is desperate for his cock. I’m sure he’ll be devastated.

Also, she’s carrying a trashcan for some reason. This might be some weird Japanese thing.

Naturally, she runs into him immediately, and drops the trash everywhere, and he offers to help her. Her body seems to have turned back to normal, but when he gets close, she changes back, then freaks out and runs off to masturbate in some art classroom.

He finds her, and there’s some more angst about how she’s a horrible slut monster that he’ll never love. Then she grabs him with her tail and tries to sexually assault him. Fortunately, he gets into it immediately. Fucking ensues.

The tail penis is the only part that you might expect to be weird for him, but he's pretty chill about it, all things considered. They don’t do anything weird with it, really, which actually kind of disappointed me. I guess I didn’t really expect her to fuck him, or herself, or anyone with it, given the spade shape thing going on at the end. Which is a weird physical trait, when you think about it. It's common in depictions of dragons and demons, but there's no animal that has a tail like that.

A missed opportunity, but I have to remember that they make hentai for people who watch it for actual sexual purposes, not to see what depths of weirdness the industry can create.

The wings finally make an appearance, and we do get some wing biting or sucking, which is nice. If you’re going to go to the trouble of having a monstergirl in your hentai, you really should take advantage of her abnormal anatomy.

That’s about it for the first story. She seems to be under the impression that she’ll go back to normal after she’s sexually satisfied. But then, after, seems to believe that she’s going to stay this way because she likes fucking so much.

Story two isn’t as interesting, and if it was on its own, I probably wouldn't be inclined to bother reviewing it.

Another girl from the same school gets ahold of the DVD with the haunted video, and is getting ready to watch it at home when her sister walks in. In an interesting twist for anime, she tries to convince the sister it’s porn, because she finds the haunted video thing more embarrassing.

The sister leaves and she watches it, and some ghost tentacles come out and molest her for second, but then just disappear, and then she goes into the same weird fever and shakes that the first girl had at the beginning.

Naturally, the little sister comes in, thinks she’s shoved a vibrator into herself, and pulls off her panties. Cause sisters do that in this universe. Then a penis pops out of her cooch, because the writer didn’t have a better idea.

The little sister starts feeling up the new cock, like that’s an acceptable response to this. Then the first sister then gets into it and gets aggressive with the little sister. More fucking.

Once she finally unloads into her sisters vag, the penis shrinks and disappears. Because she... fucked out the curse? I don’t know. It ends with the little sister watching the cursed video and growing her own penis so that she can fuck the older sister.

The art and animation is decent enough, but it does have this problem with that stupid hentai thing where they stick their tongue out like they’re choking or gagging and the artists seem to think that it’s anything but utter boner-retardant. Nothing that interesting in the story, especially in the second one, but it’s at least done adequately.
